Taiwanese Avocado Milk
Taiwanese Avocado Milk is a creamy, refreshing drink made from fresh avocado and milk — naturally rich and satisfying without the need for added sugar. Unlike the typical Western use of avocados in savory dishes or spreads, this version turns the fruit into a subtly sweet, chilled smoothie-like beverage.Avocados were introduced to Taiwan from the U.S. in the 19th century and have since thrived in the island’s warm climate. Over the years, local varieties have developed a smooth, buttery texture that makes them perfect for blending. In Taiwan, avocado milk is a nostalgic summer treat and a go-to drink when you need something nutritious but don’t feel like eating a full meal. It’s simple, healthy, and incredibly filling — a drink that tastes as good as it feels.
