Cooking & Storage Tips
- For the most consistent texture and flavor distribution, use finely grated Parmesan cheese powder. This allows the cheese to blend seamlessly with the flour, ensuring every bite has that signature savory kick without affecting the cookie’s crispness.
- Cheese-based cookies can go from golden to burnt very quickly due to the proteins in the dairy. Keep a close eye on your oven during the last 2 minutes; you want a light golden edge, but the center should remain pale to preserve the delicate cheese aroma.
- Let cookies cool completely before storing. Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Great for make-ahead entertaining.
