Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 5 g ground cinnamon
  • 25 g brown sugar
  • 25 g granulated sugar
  • 3 sheets puff pastry (about 13 × 14 cm each)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine 25 g granulated sugar, 25 gbrown sugar, and 5 g ground cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

  • Slice the apples. You can peel them or keep the skinon if preferred. Cut each apple in half, remove the stem and core, and sliceinto 4–5 mm thick pieces. Set aside.

  • Cut the puff pastry sheets in half to make sixrectangular pieces.

  • Arrange the apple slices on a baking tray, slightlyoverlapping each piece. Sprinkle about ½ tablespoon of the cinnamon sugarmixture over the apples. Adjust sweetness to taste. Place one sheet of puffpastry on top and gently press down. Repeat for the remaining portions.
