
Simple Homemade Apple Pie with Puff Pastry
This quick and easy apple pie uses just a few ingredients — apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and puff pastry — for a cozy homemade treat. With no complicated crust or long prep time, it’s perfect for a simple afternoon dessert or a quick weekend bake. Serve warm and enjoy the flaky layers and sweet cinnamon aroma.
Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 5 g ground cinnamon
- 25 g brown sugar
- 25 g granulated sugar
- 3 sheets puff pastry (about 13 × 14 cm each)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine 25 g granulated sugar, 25 gbrown sugar, and 5 g ground cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

- Slice the apples. You can peel them or keep the skinon if preferred. Cut each apple in half, remove the stem and core, and sliceinto 4–5 mm thick pieces. Set aside.

- Cut the puff pastry sheets in half to make sixrectangular pieces.

- Arrange the apple slices on a baking tray, slightlyoverlapping each piece. Sprinkle about ½ tablespoon of the cinnamon sugarmixture over the apples. Adjust sweetness to taste. Place one sheet of puffpastry on top and gently press down. Repeat for the remaining portions.

- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 20minutes.
